Every day, all year round, we provide 1.6 million Stockholmers with clean and good tap water, treat wastewater, and ensure that waste is taken care of. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an automation engineer with us, you play a central role in the maintenance and development of our control and monitoring systems. In this role, you combine technical expertise with a holistic perspective and work on further development, standardization, and improvement of our facilities. Your tasks vary from troubleshooting and participating in development projects to programming operational monitoring images in the SCADA system.

Furthermore, you drive the work with requirements specification and implementation of design and functionality for operational images and standardization of pump stations. Additionally, you contribute to the long-term competence development of the organization by acting as a mentor and knowledge support for more junior colleagues.

The position is a permanent employment where we apply a six-month probationary period with placement in Högdalen or Ulvsunda, Bromma.

Your tasks include:

  • Programming and configuring control and automation systems
  • Troubleshooting and commissioning of facilities
  • Definition and follow-up of structure for data storage and software for control and automation systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, we see that you are solution-oriented, structured, and proactive. You have the ability to prioritize when conditions change and are confident in communicating technical solutions clearly. You naturally collaborate across professional boundaries and capture the organization's needs to translate them into functioning technical solutions.

We see that you have:

  • Master's degree or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/automation, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in control system programming, preferably Mitsubishi systems
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

  • Mission-critical or essential societal facilities
  • Standardization and technical development in larger facility environments

In your position, you will work with classified information. Security clearance and background checks will therefore be conducted in connection with employment.
